New Technology
In the world of cosmetic treatments, where claims about the efficacy of cosmetic devices
are many, EDB Med Spa stands tall in its promise. The spa doesn't merely go by lofty claims but rather proven patient outcomes. Dr. Buch selects only the best quality
devices offered by the cosmetic industry. EDB uses the latest technologies to perform minimally invasive procedures which require limited downtime. The current modalities offered by EDB allow people to achieve their goals while maintaining balance.
The Alma TED is a revolutionary, non-invasive hair restoration treatment that promotes improved blood flow to the scalp resulting in thicker, stronger hair. Patients receive these benefits without the discomfort and shedding often experienced with other in-office hair treatments and procedures.
EDB is also proud to introduce the Opus Plasma Laser, the newest technology replacing the CO2 laser which was often accompanied by periods of long downtime and occasional scarring. The Opus offers patients a minimally invasive experience allowing for less downtime in treating sun damage, wrinkles, and scars. Patients can expect some redness in the treatment area for 24 to 48 hours, none of which should prevent them from resuming normal activities the next day.
New Opus Plasma Fractional Laser Resurfacing

How do I know if I’m a good candidate for laser skin resurfacing? Laser Skin resurfacing works on many skin types, including very light and very dark skin. It can knock out wrinkles, improve the most challenging scars, and help correct a wide variety other skin imperfections.

How does it work? Fractional skin resurfacing uses laser energy microbeams to create areas of affected tissue that extend through the epidermis. The body’s natural healing process creates new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in healthier, younger skin.

How long does treatment take? Most treatments last no more than an hour. Depending on the condition being treated, a single treatment or a series of treatments may be recommended for best results.

How quickly will I recover? Usually you may resume your regular activities the same day following some treatments; more aggressive procedures may require several days of healing.

What can I expect after treatment? Depending upon the treatment option, you can expect to experience a temporary redness, warmth, and swelling at the treatment site, which typically lasts only a few days. In other cases, some post-care wound management may be necessary for a few days following treatment. Potential side effects and you post treatment expectation based on the type of procedure you received will be discussed with you.

The results described are not typical and will vary based on a variety of factors.
